AgArBaTTi and A bUcKeT oF wAtEr

kulendra choudhury aka kulu had chronic dysentry problem since his childhood. He joined  training six months late. It was because he received his appointment letter late. Due to his stomach problems he used to go to the loo frequently. He stored water in two buckets for the purpose. We all stored water  in a bucket  and kept lt under the bed. But the lazy one's used to steal water from others. Most of the time Kulu was the victim since his buckets were always filled to the top. He was finding it difficult to keep his water safe. Even  he had to steal water from others at times of emergency as his  buckets were being emptied by the thieves. He knew who were the thieves but he did not have the evidence. He warned the thieves to keep away from his buckets or he would lit an agarbatti.  We did not understand the meaning of his words.
One  day in the parade ground at noon, he felt like going to the loo. This was going to be his 3rd time. He asked for permission . But the parade instructor declined and said that this is your regular drama. Kulu pleaded but the parade instructor didnot allow him to leave the parade ground. Instead he said ,you can leave after 10 minutes as the parade is going to end. Thinking of waiting for another 10 minutes , Kulu lost his control and ran towards the barrack. He immediately went for his buckets but they were all empty. He then ran to the toilet and slammed  the door. After sometime the cadets returned from the parade field. Kulu was still lodged inside the toilet. He was waiting to ask someone for a bucket full of water.
He somehow managed and came out of the toilet. He came cursing into the barrack. He was saying this is the limit, I will light one agarbatti.
That evening , during his evening prayers he lit one agarbatti and complained to the God about his missing buckets of water. He prayed for justice and punishment for the guilty.
The next day as we were going to attend the law classes, kulu's bedmate 'Lakhi'was walking in a very unusual way. When asked Lakhi said that a boil has errupted in between his legs suddenly and it made his walking very painful. Lakhi was one of suspects that stole Kulu's water. Kulu was very much satisfied as he thought his prayers were answered. On the other hand Lakhi was very angry and said " people should not bother God for such small things.
